The Left (and the media, but I repeat myself) have been in spin-control mode all week, trying to distance the Occupy Wall Street movement from Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez, the lunatic who fired shots at the White House last week. Networks have dutifully ignored reports that Hernandez may have spent time in the Occupy DC camp. Maybe the Progressives in the video didn’t get the memo that supporting a would-be presidential assassin might not be good for the OWS cause.

If anyone in the Tea Party expressed solidarity with Jared Loughner (and if a group of Tea Partiers than bowed their head in respectful silence for him), do you imagine the media would have been interested?
