More of the Left’s “new civility” — Liberals on Twitter want Republicans dead

Here’s more of that do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do “new civility” from Liberals as exemplified by Jimmy Hoffa this past weekend when he introduced President Obama at a campaign rally.

“We got to keep an eye on the battle that we face: The war on workers. And you see it everywhere, it is the Tea Party. And you know, there is only one way to beat and win that war. The one thing about working people is we like a good fight. And you know what? They’ve got a war, they got a war with us and there’s only going to be one winner. It’s going to be the workers of Michigan, and America. We’re going to win that war,” Jimmy Hoffa said to a heavily union crowd.

“President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march. Let’s take these son of bitches out and give America back to an America where we belong,” Hoffa added.

As one might expect, the White House response has been to put their fingers in their ears and pretend they didn’t hear what was said by a speaker they invited to introduce the President.

A top aide to President Obama says Americans must decide for themselves how to be civil with each other  — a rather sharp departure from comments that Obama has himself made in the past.

In an interview with the WMAL Morning Majority Wednesday, White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer said the Obama administration is not going to be drawn into the “gotcha game” of reacting to comments made by Teamsters President James Hoffa, Jr.  At a Labor Day rally in Detroit, Hoffa urged the President to use unions as his army to fight back against the Tea Party and  “take these son-of-a-bitches out.”

Pfeiffer told WMAL that President Obama is not going to “serve as the speech police for the Democratic party.”

“What everyone should do is make their best judgment of how they be civil,” said Pfeiffer. “What I don’t think makes sense is to distract from the major issues at hand to try to get everyone to go back and approve and disapprove of every single thing that every single person has said,” he added.

How convenient for President Obama to change his standards for what constitutes civil discourse when his side routinely steps over the line.

“Jimmy Hoffa’s remarks are on the heels of Vice President Biden calling us terrorists; Congresswoman Maxine Waters telling tea party activists to “go to hell,” and Congressman Andre Carson’s outrageous claim that the tea party supports lynchings.” Tea Party Express chairwoman Amy Kremer said in a statement released on Tuesday.

Following President Obama’s example — and as part of a larger pattern of ongoing hostility from the Left — many Progressives have gotten onto Twitter to vent their spleens at those eeeeevil Republicans. (h/t: Breitbart)

*Language warning, of course.*

It should also be noted, this comes on the heels of the release of an online game for Democrats entitled “Tea Party Zombies Must Die!

While conservatives create witty products poking fun at Obamunism like the game Spread the Wealth Around, moonbat entertainment takes a darker path, highlighting not the flaws of liberals’ opponents, but their own hypocrisy and tendency to project. The video game Tea Party Zombies Must Die is meant to amuse the folks who keep preaching sanctimoniously about how conservatives could be encouraging maniacs with uncivil discourse and violent rhetoric. The objective of the game is to kill Tea Party patriots and prominent conservatives.

The irony of depicting those who believe in individual liberty rather than universal absorption into a collectivist horde as zombies will sail over the head of the intended audience.
