Obama Releases Long-Form Birth Certificate

After two years of foot-dragging and stonewalling, President Obama has finally released his long-form birth certificate.
The White House has released President Obama’s long-form birth certificate, saying the document is “proof positive” the president was born in Hawaii.The release marked an unexpected turn in the long-simmering, though widely discredited, controversy over Obama’s origin. Obama’s advisers have for the better part of three years dismissed questions about the president’s birth, directing skeptics to the short-term document released during the 2008 campaign. But as the issue gained more attention at the state level and particularly in the 2012 presidential race, Obama said Wednesday that it was starting to distract attention from pressing challenges like the budget.
The president, who discussed the release at the White House without taking questions, said he had been “puzzled” by the enduring shelf life of the issue and acknowledged the announcement may not put the so-called birther controversy to rest. But he told the public and the media that it’s time to “get serious.”
“We do not have time for this kind of silliness,” Obama said. “We’ve got better stuff to do. I’ve got better stuff to do. We’ve got big problems to solve.” [He then flew off to appear on the Oprah Winfrey Show. –FMP]
He said the country will not solve those problems if people are “distracted by sideshows and carnival barkers.”
Ahh, there’s some of that “new tone” we were promised. And I find it pretty offensive that President Obama is hurling insults after he’s been chiefly responsible for allowing his birth certificate to be a wedge issue for over two years.
Obama has allowed this controversy to drag on ever since the Democrat Party’s 2008 presidential primaries. It has served as an effective distraction from his lack of leadership domestically and his ineptitude abroad. Furthermore, it has allowed Obama to marginalize anyone not satisfied by his half-measure of releasing a redacted “short form” version of his birth certificate.
So can we all now PLEASE move on? There are numerous and much more substantive ways Obama is failing as President. Donald Trump can stop his charade of being a conservative and the rest of us can concentrate on fixing the damage caused by Obama’s myopic policies.
The only question that remains: If there is nothing controversial or damaging on the birth certificate that was released today, why would Barack Obama spend $2 million dollars to conceal it?

The only problem with it is the Adobe pdf format document posted on the White House Blog web site, when opened in Adobe Illustrator shows multiple layers of information and text which should not be the case with a photographed image. A true photograph would contain only one layer. Another question is, why leave the layers there? Surely Illustrator has a way to flatten or merge the layers into one layer. Did they just forget? The main point is,the photo has clearly been modified and or manipulated. Why?
- Gateway Pundit posted more supposed evidence of Photoshop forgery. As well as an image of a legitimate birth certificate from 1961. Note the seal as well as the obvious age.
…look at the marks on this Internet version and you can see this was the template for Obama’s BC handiwork. The handwriting is exactly the same between posted Internet image and Obama’s fake version — the placement of boxes and marks are in the exact same position, dates are where the modified clipping masks occur to adjust dates to fit for Obama, but the handwriting of dates match (except for the clipping mask changes). Even the Cert. number is only off by the last two digits (which…you guessed it… happens to be a clipping mask layer).
Sounds like someone better call Dan Rather…

I’ve confirmed that scanning an image, converting it to a PDF, optimizing that PDF, and then opening it up in Illustrator, does in fact create layers similar to what is seen in the birth certificate PDF. You can try it yourself at home.

- Proof, who used to work for a company that manufactured microfilm cameras and printers, offers some astute observations regarding Teh Won’s birth certificate as compared to two others from 1961 whose serial numbers immediately precede Obama’s.
Why the dramatic difference in quality? You can see in the White House “copy”, the slight shadow of the curvature of whatever book they were bound in, same as the other two. But miraculously, there is none of the clouding or underexposure of the film which would have produced some background, as if the Magic Microfilm Fairy miraculously healed any deficiencies in the system to help illuminate that shining light that would become our President!

For him to release this today seemed strange to me. Did you know that the Federal Reserve is holding its first in history press conference this afternoon? Coincidence? Not a freaking chance.
This whole issue is interesting to say the least. It appears that Obama has used the same high school kid to produce his new BC version. The first one that was published 3 years ago stated that he was African-American. really? That term was not used in 1961 but a youngster wouldn't know that.
The coincidence that Paul Mitchell alludes to is spot on… exactly, not a freaking chance.
There are not coincidences in politics.
Also interesting that the first pic, which looks like the certified true copy I got in order to get a passport (I was born in '66), says that it is a "true and correct copy" of the original, whereas the second says that is a copy "or an abstract."
Which would mean "not the original."
Obama's also lists his "Race" as "African." That's a race? A white person is listed as "Caucasian," not "European."
