King Barry’s busy schedule

While I took a two-week blog break, all hell literally broke loose.

Japan suffered one of the worst earthquakes and tsunamis in its recorded history and their Fukushima nuclear plant is in crisis, the news media is scaremongering against nuclear energy, leftists union goons have continued their thuggery by causing millions of dollars in damage to the Wisconsin capitol building as well as the capitol lawn as they throw tantrums over being outsmarted by state senate Republicans, protests against the Saudi monarchy have turned violent in Bahrain, Gadhafi is slaughtering thousands of Libyan rebels who want him ousted, and our Congress has still failed to pass a budget and is feuding over how to reduce America’s runaway debt of $14 trillion.

obama-golfAnd what has King Barry been doing? He’s continuing his pattern of voting “present” by playing his 61st round of golf and filling out his presidential bracket on ESPN.

Gee, I’m SO glad our president is offering such firm leadership during these tough times (for those few liberals still reading this post, that last sentence was sarcasm).

Although it’s certain that he does less damage to our country when he focuses on trivialities rather than, say, undermining states’ rights or inflicting socialism upon our society, we still expect him to be focused on his job of being the leader of the free world. And when we see Obama frittering away his time, it sheds an unflattering light on why it takes him days, weeks, sometimes months or even years to respond to critical events.

When that proverbial 3:00am call comes in, Obama can’t hear it over the sound of Guitar Hero on his XBox.
