A brief roundup of more TSA abuses
The video below contains TEN MINUTES worth of various news stories detailing numerous cases of the Transportation Security Administration’s abusive and improper treatment of American travelers. (h/t: A Traditional Life Lived)
These are the kind of people TSA deems fit to work in high-security areas, run their “naked scanners,” and perform “enhanced pat-downs” on our mothers, wives, and children.
- TSA orders Richmond airport to give security clearance to felon
- TSA screener in Boston charged with child rape
- TSA Clears Illegal Immigrants To Work At NY Airport
- TSA Clears Flight Training For Illegal Immigrants
- TSA cleared some screeners for patdown duty before criminal background checks were complete
Just a few more examples of the efficiency and standards of our federal government. Somebody remind me why we should allow these same nimrods to control our healthcare?
Given the incessant drumbeat telling us we must submit to these injustices in order to be safe from terrorism, it’s important to take another look at that inconvenient little thing called The Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution:
“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”
