Where is President Obama on Veterans Day?
Not here in America, that’s for sure. Our “Commander-In-Chief” is AWOL for Veterans Day, choosing instead to further pander to Islam. Priorities, dontchaknow?
With his feeble flame of “hope” thoroughly doused here in the United States by last week’s elections, President Obama has set out around the globe in search of throngs still enthralled by his flowery rhetoric.
He found them, of course, in Indonesia this week by telling them about how Americans must stop mistrusting Islam.
So that is why your president is halfway around the world instead of being here in the United States to celebrate the sacrifices American soldiers, sailors and airmen have made around the world to keep the real, still-burning flame of freedom alive.
Obama honored our veterans from afar by laying a wreath during a ceremony at an Army base in South Korea last night.
That is a distance from here matched only by the chasm that has opened up between him and the voters who elected him two years ago.
This aloofness of his really is becoming a problem.
Not that Obama doesn’t appreciate the sacrifices of veterans. He absolutely does. Just ask the Indonesians.
He was in Jakarta for their Heroes Day this week to honor their veterans “who have sacrificed on behalf of this great country.”
“This great country,” of course, being Indonesia.
“When my stepfather was a boy, he watched his own father and older brother leave home to fight and die in the struggle for Indonesian independence,” Obama told the audience.
And the White House wonders why so many people think there is something foreign about this guy.
When Obama isn’t genuflecting before the Muslim world and vacillating about jihad, he’s playing patty-cake with Communists.
“I am glad to meet an Indian communist. I am told that communists have been part of the (Indian) political mainstream,” Obama told CPM Politburo member Sitaram Yechury at the Rashtrapati Bhawan banquet as they were introduced and both shook hands.
Yechury told Obama that the Indian communists have been in the political mainstream “throughout”.
What a coincidence. There are also plenty of communists throughout
the Democrat party.

I appreciate that you took the time to comment. But if you'd like to opine on here, please pay attention to the rules I listed in the comment box: use a name or pseudonym. It makes dialogue possible. If three or four people post anonymously, it's impossible to know who said what.
How funny that you chide me not to believe everything I read, then you link to a video from self-avowed socialist Lawrence O'Donnell on the far left pseudo-news site, MSNBC.com. That's rich!
If you had any reading comprehension, you would have seen that Obama's ceremony in Korea WAS mentioned in the story I linked — a fact conveniently left out in O'Donnell's spin control. My point was clear; yes, our president did take time to honor the troops on Veterans Day, but that was certainly not his priority this week. He chose to run away after his embarrassing repudiation in the midterm elections and focus attention on other matters of state…like YET ANOTHER obsequious speech to the Muslim world at large. And more gutless ambiguity on the nature of Islamic jihad. Fawning before the extremists who seek our destruction will not make Americans safer. History has shown that such weakness will have the opposite effect.
Which is another reason why our president shouldn't be blowing millions of taxpayer dollars on this ill-advised boondoggle.
