Obama STILL doesn’t get it

Denial; it’s not just a river in Egypt…

King Barry still doesn't get itAfter a suffering a “shellacking” in the midterm elections, President Obama acknowledges what many have seen as his chief weakness – failing to sell the importance of several legislative milestones to the American people.

“I think that’s a fair argument. I think that, over the course of two years we were so busy and so focused on getting a bunch of stuff done that, we stopped paying attention to the fact that leadership isn’t just legislation. That it’s a matter of persuading people. And giving them confidence and bringing them together. And setting a tone,” Mr. Obama told 60 Minutes’ Steve Kroft in an exclusive interview set to air Sunday.

“Making an argument that people can understand,” Mr. Obama continued, “I think that we haven’t always been successful at that. And I take personal responsibility for that. And it’s something that I’ve got to examine carefully … as I go forward.”

How typical that our president would think the midterm election results couldn’t possibly be a rejection of his policies, it must be because we serfs are just too stupid to understand how brilliant and magnanimous he is.

Sheesh! Does he really think he hasn’t done enough to persuade us? Obama’s done almost nothing but try to persuade the American people to swallow his socialist pablum ever since he ran for office.

Clearly, King Barry has been sniffing too much of those shellac fumes, because it’s caused him to forget the 471 speeches, remarks and public comments he made from January 2009 to March 2010.

Sorry, Obama. A majority of the American people have heard you loud and clear. And have rejected your big-government policies in similar fashion.

Then it all crashes down
And you break your crown
And you point your finger
But there’s no one around

Just want one thing
Just to play the king
But the castle’s crumbling
And you’re left with just a name

Where’s your crown, King Nothing?
