Obama on the cover of Newsweek as Shiva the Destroyer?

As the mindless Far Left began their propaganda campaign, they portrayed Obama as Abraham Lincoln. Then, they made him their Jesus. He was even given his own Greek temple from which to deliver his gospel to the masses.
Now, it appears that the Obamatons at the liberal fishwrap Newsweek have designed their 11/22/2010 cover to depict Dear Leader as the Hindu half-man, half-woman god — Shiva, the Destroyer of Worlds. (h/t: Drudge Report)
In addition to Newsweek‘s slobbering “God Of All Things” headline and the banal halo, their choice of imagery contains several big Freudian slips:
Shiva is the god of the yogis, self-controlled and celibate, while at the same time a lover of his spouse (shakti). Lord Shiva is the destroyer of the world, following Brahma the creator and Vishnu the preserver, after which Brahma again creates the world and so on. Shiva is responsible for change both in the form of death and destruction…
Destruction opens the path for a new creation of the universe, a new opportunity for the beauty and drama of universal illusion to unfold.
The cover’s subhead plays off the Hindu imagery as well, speculating “Why the modern presidency may be too much for one person to handle.” I’ve got a news flash for the leftist acolytes at Newsweek; the presidency is NOT too big for one person to handle…when government stays within its Constitutionally-defined limits!
When they chose to depict their political deity in this fashion, I wonder just what they thought OmamaShiva is supposed to be destroying? Capitalism? The Constitution? The concept of humility? The separation of cult and state?
Regardless, their fawning adulation is really sickening.
Wikipedia describes the significance of Shiva’s dancing pose:
The two most common forms of the dance are the Tandava, which later came to denote the powerful and masculine dance as Kala-Mahakala associated with the destruction of the world. When it requires the world or universe to be destroyed, Lord Śiva does it by the Tandava.
No longer content to have the president be merely their Obamessiah, now he’s “Obama, the Destroyer of Worlds.” Wow, thanks for clarifying, Newsweek!

UPDATE: I wonder if this cover was created by Evan Thomas, the Kool-Aid guzzling Newsweek editor who told Chris Matthews “Obama’s standing above the country, above – above the world, he’s sort of God.”

The modern presidency is not TOO MUCH for one person to handle, the person presently occupying the office is not BIG ENOUGH to handle it. There's a BIG difference!
The problem isn't that the "modern" presidency is too "big for one person". The problem is "modern" government simply does not work. (Any national government of any country–anywhere on earth–find me one that works please! I can't.)
The only places I've seen effectiveness is in smaller organizations–non profits, businesses, some churches, some small city/country governments. (Incidentally all these organizations feel a sense of competition–apparently that's an essential ingredient of effectiveness.)
So far the only solution for "modern" government that I think is practical is to stop trying to "do" things at a federal level and decentralize back to organizations small enough to compete with each other.
