“Uprising” is a great song by the English alt-rock band, Muse. It’s available on their album The Resistance.

To me, the lyrics speak to the widespread corruption of the Democrats and the resulting opposition by millions of Americans in the form of the Tea Party. In a non-violent uprising at the polls next month, American citizens will reclaim authority from the tyrants that are laying waste to our economy and transforming our society into a third-word cesspit of mediocrity and failed socialist idealogy.

The paranoia is in bloom
The PR transmissions will resume
They’ll try to push drugs
Keep us all dumbed down and hope that
We will never see the truth around

Another package not to keep us trapped in greed
With all the green belts wrapped around our minds
