Just a few pics from this past weekend’s “One Nation” rally; a bizarre amalgam of Democratic Socialists, labor unions, Socialist Party USA, communists, advocates of amnesty for illegal immigrants, and other Schultz-bots who hate America. Habledash sums it up rather well:
Over the weekend, the largest group of anti-American progressives gathered in Washington at the National Mall as a counter to Glenn Beck’s successful Restoring Honor 8.28 rally. The event was heavily promoted by the undocumented President Obama’s campaign arm, Organizing for America, as well as nearly every liberal organization in America. One Nation Working Together was a direct response to the Tea Party movement and the Restoring Honor rally, which wasn’t political and benefited our troops. Even with the support of the liberal media, One Nation seems to have fallen short of their projected attendees.This image was taken from BigGovernment.com this morning. One Nation did not produce more people than the 8.28 rally, but it did highlight a clear difference between liberals and conservatives: The Tea Party movement is as grassroots as you can get, whereas One Nation was simply put together by a handful of socialist and communist organizations, including labor unions, environmentalists, and gay rights activists. The Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and the AFL-CIO, for example, used PAC money to fund the more than 500 busses to transport members to the event. It’s not grassroots when your union leader requests your attendance and provides a mode of transportation.

Of course, there was no shortage of venom for traditional America, thanks to the organizer of this travesty; MSNBC’s Ed Schultz. These leftist clowns align themselves with Marxists and against everything America stands for, and then have the nerve to call us evil? Clearly, they’ve conveniently forgotten the history of communism.
And not surprisingly, the Democrat crowd left an enormous mess. This from the so-called “progressives” who claim to care so much about the environment. One park employee called it “the worst that it gets.”
