California paid $4.5 million to a child-molesting illegal alien

I find it more than a little peculiar that this story, which was posted by Norfolk Crime Examiner, didn’t make headlines around the country last year. Perhaps it was buried because it wouldn’t help folks like Harry Reid, who this week is dishonestly using the Senate’s latest military funding legislation to sneak amnesty for illegal immigrants. On April 17, 2009, the Orange County Board of Supervisors agreed to pay $3.75 million, plus an additional $900,000 in medical expenses to an illegal alien who was severely beaten by other inmates in the Orange County Central Jail.
