Do you remember last year when Secretary of State Clinton said that America would not work with any Palestinian unity government that includes Hamas if Hamas does not agree to recognize Israel?
President Obama certainly seems to have forgotten that little tidbit.
Despite unemployment around 10%, an economy hobbled by Democrat economic policies and the most massive environmental disaster in U.S. history, Chairman O is giving $400 million to the Hamas-led Palestinian government in Gaza.
The United States will contribute $400 million in development aid to the Palestinian territories and work with Israel to loosen its embargo on Gaza, President Barack Obama said Wednesday.
Obama’s announcement came after White House talks with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. The money will be used to build housing, schools, water and health care systems in both the Palestinian Authority-controlled West Bank and Gaza, which is ruled by the Palestinian Islamic movement Hamas.
The claim that America’s money will go only to humanitarian purposes is as disingenuous as it is myopic. Our own government is fraught with waste and corruption, with billions spent indiscriminately. What makes Obama believe that the Palestinian government will be able to keep our money out of the hands of jihadists? Even The New York Times concedes the obvious:
The details of how the aid would be used in Gaza remained unclear. Nor was it immediately clear how Mr. Abbas, who has authority in the West Bank but not in Gaza, would be able to administer it.
Keep in mind, Hamas is openly dedicated to the extermination of all Jews. They’ve put their genocidal goals in writing as part of their charter. They have repeatedly declared that they will never recognize Israel’s right to exist.
And Obama is giving our tax dollars to these Islamic supremacists. Our president is standing with terrorists who are allied with Iran and Syria, and pledges our money to support them.
THIS MUST NOT STAND!
