Happy "Everyone Draw Muhammad Day"
***Scroll down for fatwas, er, updates***
On behalf of Kurt Westergaard, Lars Vilks, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, and anyone else who’s ever dared draw a picture of Muhammad, today is “Everyone Draw Muhammad Day.”
Via Zombie:
So you can see the urge of every sane-minded Westerner to say a hearty Fuck you! to anyone who tries to erode away the bedrock of our free society. The more insistent (and violent) these attempts at erosion, the less civil the resistance will become. Which is exactly as it should be. If the Islamists want us to to stop mocking (or even questioning) Mohammed, they can achieve this goal quite simply: Just go away and leave us alone. Don’t bother us, and we won’t bother you. Seriously, 99% of non-Muslims don’t give a good goddamn about Mohammed one way or the other, and we’d gladly ignore him and his followers until the end of time – if they’d just stop trying to boss us around. But if someone comes to our safe haven and tries to impose a repressive or restrictive rule on us, then that is the exact rule we’re going to flout until the interlopers learn their lesson: We don’t take kindly to bullshit medieval religious oppression in these parts.
As the saying goes, “don’t start nothin’, won’t be nothin’.”
And speaking of bullshit, Blogmeister USA dumps a heaping helping of it right back at those who can’t wait to “behead those who insult Islam.”
This slanderous and without a doubt blasphemous cartoon was created by…. wait for it… a Muslim! By a mullah no less. This piece of propaganda was meant to stir up outrage throughout the Muslim ummah.
So, if someone feels like going all fatwah–eee, I would suggest directing your pointless rage at the mullah who made this picture to mess with your head.

UPDATE: Right on cue, the childish intolerance of Islamic extremists rears its ugly head. “Radical Muslims Threaten To Kill Facebook Creator Of Everybody Draw Mohammed Day.”
Here’s a shot from the censored South Park episode that touched off the whole thing:
I don’t see the resemblance, do you? If someone wears a bear costume today, do they get a fatwa?
—
UPDATE: First, there was the Lego Bible. Now we’ve got Lego Muhammad. Next up, the Lego Koran?
—
UPDATE: Mean Ol’ Meany has put together a fatwa-worthy roundup of Mulehamster fun.
—
UPDATE: Why should Mo get all the love? Here, let’s see if this cartoon causes riots among Christians, alien conspiracy-mongers, Che-worshippers, fans of Mickey Mouse, Buddhists, and Yahoo Messenger users.
—
UPDATE: Looks like today was unnecessary after all. Muhammad has laid out the NEW Shari’a.

In case you haven't noticed, the ones that you are calling "Islamic extremists" appear to be the MAINSTREAM Muslims. The extreme Muslims are the ones that go pole dancing and win Miss USA.
I have an idea for another cartoon character you can add: the "Earth with a Temperature", except instead of a thermometer sticking up it would be a fuse. Although, come to think of it, adherents of that religion may actually be driven to violence.
All of us must respect each other. This is only way we can live in peace. We muslim's acknowledge te rigt "Freedom of Speech" but at the same time ask that does right give the right to insult our religion belief. I would say it is right to express ur self in any way you can but you should do it in the limits and it is not right to play with emotions of Muslims in the nameof FREEDOM OF EXPRESSIONS" I would ask a very simple question to my all non muslim brothers and sisters If i abuse you "MOTHER FUCKER" Why in the name of God u get offended and start abusing or try to settle score in any way u can. Why dont u respect my "Freedom of Speech". The point is if one cannot tolerate this little abuse and stand out, How can muslims, who firmly believe that there love for Prophet Muhammd is more then there parents, will not be offended. It must be understood that whoever is behind this event is not serving any good to this world. He is taking world to a caois. We all irrespective of our race, religion, sect should stand against people and tell them that they cannot take our peace and harmoney in there hands by such cowrdly acts.
STFU, Hadji.
(Sorry, Full Metal Patriot.)
I already deleted several hateful comments posted by the "behead those who insult Islam" Cro-Magnons. The one I did choose to publish (even though the commenter didn't sign their name) shows an ignorance of what "freedom of speech" really means.
Sorry, "Anonymous", it's not drawings of Muhammad that are taking the world to chaos. That is what is being done by weak-minded fools who want to forcefully subjugate the world to a brutal 6th century religion of repression and murder.
People didn't make drawings of Muhammad yesterday because you or other Muslims said "mother fucker." They did not make drawings because they were offended by anything that has been said. They made those drawings in protest to the cowardly actions of violence carried out by jihadists who routinely prove that their version of Islam is NOT a religion of peace.
I would really thank "Full Metal Patriot" for posting my comments. Sir, let me assure you one thing, that we do understand the "Freedom of speech" in the best possible spirit. Freedom of speech is an integral part of our religious beliefs. But, we would like to be remembered as "IGNORANT" if freedom of speech means insult someone's religion. As I pointed out in my previous comments, though, we acknowledge the right of freedom of speech but would say it is not right to use in the context where your right is hearting millions of people emotions and religious beliefs on moral grounds. Therefore "Restrained" should be exercised. There is a saying "two wrongs do not make a right". Do you really think, “some weak-minded fools", represent the whole Muslim community? People like these exist in every society and every religion, does this mean every religion is extremist; the answer is big "NO". Tell me, what is the difference between you and them, nothing in my eye. You are behaving in the same manner as they do, both implementing own versions. In my understanding you are playing in their hands by announcing such activities. This act has given birth to new controversy which could have been easily avoided. These jihadists and people who asked to retaliate in this manner want ciaos and unrest in this world. This is their agenda and we like “ignorant fool” are falling in their hands easily. I am very optimistic that due to some imprudent world harmony will not be jeopardized.
