Communist Jed Brandt explains Democrat strategy

In The Art of War, Sun Tzu said “Know your enemy and know yourself; in a hundred battles, you will never be defeated.” More than ever, it’s important for Americans to know the minds of those who seek to expand the federal government and abridge individual liberty.
This clip (from the Brecht Forum, September 2009) is six minutes long, but it’s an invaluable glimpse into the twisted minds of President Obama and the rest of America’s fifth column — the far Left. Self-described communist Jed Brandt doesn’t mince words regarding what ‘progressives’ have in mind for America. This is the essence of the Democrat party’s strategy.
Brandt: “We have to help bring this government down, we have to help destroy this system and that requires increasing the alienation that working class and oppressed people feel. The way change is going to happen in this country is through the destruction of what we call the United States of America.“
Did you catch that? Brandt wants to manipulate middle-class Americans and exploit their feelings to achieve his utopian goals (sounds like White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel’s “…never let a serious crisis go to waste”). Rather than move to a country where socialism is already in place, these deluded hypocrites would much prefer to dismantle the USA and substitute their tyrannical ideology in its place.
It should be noted that this is the very same “change” promised by President Obama. It’s the “New Foundation” he mentioned eight times in his speech last year at Georgetown University; one based not on liberty and the governmental constraints listed in the U.S. Constitution, but rather one centered on a massive government bureaucracy controlling of all aspects of life.
Another part of Brandt’s tirade exposes the angry undertone that drives the heavy hand of Democrat-run big government (exemplified by President Obama’s appropriation of General Motors, the American banking system, and his proposed takeover of the American healthcare system):
“We will take your insurance companies; we will take the farms in this country; we will shut down the military apparatus in this country and I am tired of being told to stuff my anger back in my pants.”
Clearly, Brandt would prefer to take his anger and stuff it into the backsides of American citizens in the name of instituting socialism.
Albert Camus, a French communist from the 1930s, offered an illuminating explanation for why many Leftists believe they know what’s best for everyone else, and why they should be able to force their agenda at gunpoint.

52% of Americans oppose the current government-run healthcare proposal, 73% say either start over or scrap it entirely. Yet, the President is ignoring the expressed will of the American people, insisting that Democrats should circumvent the checks and balances of Congressional rules in order to force passage of their unconstitutional legislation with a minimal 51-vote majority.
WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama says the time has come to pass legislation overhauling the health care system, asserting that “every argument has been made.”
Speaking at the White House Wednesday, Obama said “now is the time to make a decision about how to finally reform health care so that it works” for individuals and businesses. The president cited wide-ranging arguments for and against it and confronted head-on the accusation by critics that he has been pushing a government takeover of the system.
I guess Obama is tired of being told to stuff his anger back in his pants, too.

What is the evidence that Brandt has anything whatsoever to do with the Democratic Party or Barack Obama? Is it not obvious that he is just some fringe extremist character speaking for no-one but himself and perhaps a few fellow fringies?
Why are you content to just baldly assert that Jed Brandt = Barack Obama? Would you accept, from the other side of the aisle, the assertion that Fred Phelps = Sarah Palin?

Jed Brandt and President Obama are working toward many of the same goals. If you’ve been paying attention, President Obama has long been espousing redistribution of wealth, disincentives to business & personal achievement in favor of widespread expansion of the federal government. His agenda in the White House has been a headlong rush toward a totalitarian state dominated by a single and self-perpetuating political party which controls all economic and social activity. This is the essence of the philosophy of Karl Marx.
Jed Brandt argues for many of the same things President Obama is pushing for, he’s just more honest about his inspiration.
You might wanna take a closer look at the self-described communists Obama chooses to surround himself with, such as his “advisor” Van Jones and White House Communications Director Anita (Mao Tse-Tung is one of my favorite political philosophers) Dunn. Also, check out Frank Marshall Davis; Obama’s communist mentor. Dr. Manning Marable, one of Obama’s socialist professors, has even admitted “A lot of the people working with him are, indeed, socialists with backgrounds in the Communist Party or as independent Marxists.”
Not surprising, as Obama used to be a card-carrying member of The Chicago New Party”, a political party established by the Democratic Socialists of America. Which might be another reason why the Communist Party USA endorsed Obama’s candidacy.
Perhaps you could explain your Fred Phelps = Sarah Palin example? Does Sarah Palin run around claiming “God hates fags” like the Westboro nutcases do? Not even close. In fact, when asked about homosexuality, Palin answered “I’m not one to judge and, you know, I’m from a family and from a community with many, many members of many diverse backgrounds and I’m not going to judge someone on whether they believe that homosexuality is a choice or genetic. I’m not going to judge them.”

Obviously, your diatribe was fueled by the fact that my post was accurate, and you feel threatened to acknowledge the similarities between your messiah's agenda and Jed Brandt's.
As to my political ideology, I'm well-aquainted with the Nolan charts, and have taken (and posted the results of) MANY self-diagnostics to determine my political leanings. Unlike you, I don't blindly follow any politician or political party.

Those who have commented do not really understand what is going on. First, Obama serves, as Brandt points out, the status quo of empire and corporate rule. Obama is not the socialist that the posters here think he is, thus their view of the political spectrum and where Obama is on it is absurdly mistaken. It is almost sadly funny how mistaken some views of the Right are when it comes to the central questions about what the US really is and how divergent their views are from this reality. One might wonder at what passes for understanding. Scary really when one considers the grave problems facing the world and those who ignorantly support the moneyed and corporate class without even knowing it.
