Today will be a busy day in the fight against President Obama’s and Nancy Pelosi’s government-run healthcare plans.
In Washington, D.C.: (h/t: Michelle Malkin)
Rep. Michele Bachmann, Mark Levin, and Jon Voight will join other House Republicans and grass-roots activists from across the country on the Capitol steps at noon today to protest the Democrats’ government health care takeover plans. Be there in spirit for Operation Housecall by melting the phones today.
Gateway Pundit has more information about the Washington “Kill the Bill” protest and the busloads of patriots coming from New Jersey, Virginia, Atlanta, and St. Louis.
If you can’t join the D.C. protest in person, you can still get involved here and send the message to your Congresscritter’s local office.
In Dallas, our Dallas Tea Party has organized a protest at Victory Plaza (the site of our first Tea Party back in February) to rail against Obamacare/Pelosicare. The event starts at noon and runs until 1:00 pm.

UPDATE: The Heritage Foundation reported today’s D.C. crowd numbering 10,000.
Over 10,000 people have shown up so far to raise their concerns about the health care discussions currently under way. We are halfway in the middle of the crowd and can barely see podium with all the signs, people, and flags.
Politico is also reporting the number as “at least 10,000.”

UPDATE: Ironically, today is Guy Fawkes Day. In contrast, the Tea Party patriots were completely peaceful in their resistance to governmental tyranny. *Correction* Not entirely peaceful. CNN reported that 12 protesters were arrested outside Nancy Pelosi’s office for unlawful entry or disorderly conduct. However, the Old Bailey and Parliament — not to mention the U.S. Capitol Building — were none the worse for wear.
