Just a little reminder why President Obama continues to drag his feet on Afghanistan yet has no difficulty ramming through a massive new healthcare entitlement program. He’s made his priorities pretty clear… …on government-run healthcare: failure is not an option. “So let there be no doubt: health care reform cannot wait, it must not wait, and it will not wait another year.” …on Afghanistan: not only has there been no urgency to his decision-making, but victory is not necessarily the United States’ goal. “I’m always worried about using the word ‘victory,’ because, you know, it invokes this notion of Emperor Hirohito coming down and signing a surrender to MacArthur.” Supposedly, Obama will be announcing his long-delayed decision on Afghanistan...

Dueling videos: Palin supporters vs Obama voters

Liberals are all aflutter today over a YouTube video entitled “SARAH PALIN BOOK SIGNING – Interviews with Supporters.” In it, a group called NewLeftMedia asks Palin supporters to cite specific policies on which they agree with the former governor of Alaska. Predictably, there are plenty of people waiting in line who don’t have substantive reasons behind their affection for Palin. Arrests of illegal immigrant workers have dropped precipitously under President Obama, according to figures released Wednesday.
