Overall, 47% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance. Fifty-three percent (53%) disapprove.
On “healthcare reform”, the numbers aren’t any better…
Support for the health care plan proposed by the President and Congressional Democrats is down to 42%. Fifty-four percent (54%) are opposed.
Set your wayback machines for November 5, 2008. MSNBC reported that with 52% of the vote, Obama “could realistically claim a mandate.” Now that his DISapproval ratings are at 53%, and 54% of Americans are against the healthcare reform as proposed by the Democrats in Congress, what does that say about the “mandate” of the American people?
