Four GOP healthcare alternatives vs. 1,990 pages of government takeover
Throughout this entire closed-door process where the Democrats have crafted their underhanded seizure of America’s healthcare system, Republicans have continued to offer alternative proposals, only to be met with silence by the mainstream media. In fact, the GOP has offered three alternative health care reform bills so far: The three Republican bills total almost 400 pages and have been on the table since May and June. In May, Republicans in the House and the Senate formed a bicameral coalition to produce the 130-page “Patients Choice Act of 2009.” In June, Sen.
