"This time, we didn’t forget the gravy."
Obama’s domestic agenda, and the breakneck pace at which it’s being forced on America, reminds me of the ending of the 1951 Looney Tunes cartoon, “Chow Hound.” It’s the story of a greedy dog who exploits a cat and mouse, forcing them to steal food for him. Each time they come back with steak, he berates them; “What, no gravy?!” The story concludes with a vicious turn of the tables: the bloated dog is planted belly-up on a countertop and force-fed gallons of gravy through a funnel (“This time, we DIDN’T forget the gravy”).
America is getting what it asked for in the November elections; many voters just didn’t realize what the consequences would be.
