Marine vet blasts Congressman Baird for calling ObamaCare protesters ‘Brown Shirts’

Brian Baird (D-WA) recently took a cue from Speaker Nancy Pelosi by demonizing citizens as Nazis if they dare express their concerns about the government’s attempted takeover of the American health care system:

What we’re seeing right now is close to ‘Brown Shirt’ tactics. I mean that very seriously.”

If you’re angered by such an outrageous statement from someone who supposedly represents his constituents, you’re not alone. Retired U.S. Marine David William Hedrick attended Rep. Baird’s town hall meeting this weekend to set the record straight. (h/t: Hot Air)

“I will remind you; a little history lesson. The Nazis were the National Socialist Party. They were leftists. They took over the finances. They took over the car industry. They took over health care in their country. If Nancy Pelosi wants to find a swastika, maybe the first place she should look is the sleeve of her own arm.”

I wonder how long it’ll take for the media to stab Mr. Hedrick in the back à la “Joe The Plumber”?
