President Obama’s misplaced priorities
From President Obama’s weekly address, Mar 7, 2009:
While ending this crisis will not be quick or easy, the President’s plans will take the swift, bold, and responsible actions needed for the United States to emerge stronger and more prosperous than before. And that is why reforming healthcare, jumpstarting job creation, restoring lending, relieving responsible homeowners, and making hard choices are all so critically important right now.
While we’re in the midst of what President Obama has repeatedly called “the worst economy since the Great Depression,” Dear Leader has made time this week for such urgent national priorities as appearing on ESPN to fill out his NCAA basketball bracket and disparaging the Special Olympics on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
