What? You’ve never heard of the Shorty Awards?

The Shorty Awards honor the best producers of short content (140 characters or less) on Twitter.

As a new media aficianado, I’ve been an avid Twitter user since January 24, 2007, tweeting about a lot of the same political and current event stuff stuff you find here on the blog as well as various personal crapola as it happens. To date, I’ve posted 3,767 tweets, not counting direct messages.

So in the spirit of “ye have not because ye ask not” (and in the interest of trying to grow this blog a bit), I’m gonna ask any of you who enjoy my posts here and/or follow my Twitter stream to nominate me in the #politics category or anything else that you think fits (no, they don’t have a #dumbass category).
