Hillary had her Tuzla. Now Obama has his own military fabrication falsehood gaffe.
Barack Obama took the occasion of Memorial Day to tell a blatant lie about his family’s military service, claiming his uncle marched with Patton and was one of the first troops to liberate prisoners at Auschwitz (hey, maybe it wasn’t a lie, maybe it was just like his version of geography where the US has 57 states). A little fact-checking reveals yet another whopper from the Harvard-educated Obamessiah. From Ace of Spades HQ:
In one of his more egregious and easily demonstrated lies, made even more so by the day he decided to let it loose on, Obama has rewritten WWII history such that the allies liberated Auschwitz.
…Obama also spoke about his uncle, who was part of the American brigade that helped to liberate Auschwitz…Auschwitz of course is in Poland. It was liberated by the Red Army on Jan 27 1945. Poland, on most maps is usually placed to the east of Germany, although we may need to investigate the geography textbooks the Messiah used as a child…

In damage control mode, Obama supporters and his campaign are trying to spin it as a mistake or misstatement. Trouble is, not only did he make the ridiculous claim, he’s been doing so since 2002. But it wasn’t always his uncle, he used to claim it was his grandfather.
“My grandfather signed up for a war the day after Pearl Harbor was bombed, fought in Patton’s army. He saw the dead and dying across the fields of Europe; he heard the stories of fellow troops who first entered Auschwitz and Treblinka. He fought in the name of a larger freedom, part of that arsenal of democracy that triumphed over evil, and he did not fight in vain.”
Pretty blatant stuff. But don’t hold your breath waiting for the mainstream press to question him on his ignorance of world history, nor his long-standing prevarication.
