So Spitzer’s a Republican now?
I know the mainstream media has a hard time being objective, and has frequently omitted the fact that disgraced NY Governor Eliot Spitzer is a Democrat, but this takes the cake.
Thing is, this isn’t an isolated occurrence. Newsbusters has documented evidence of the media’s repeated and blatant distortions.
An examination of the fifteen ABC, CBS and NBC morning and evening news shows through Wednesday night finds Spitzer was called a Democrat just 20% of the time — twice on CBS, once on ABC, and never on NBC.

The media’s message: Republicans enmeshed in personal scandal are a moral stain on their entire party; Democrats in similar circumstances are just individuals, not “Democrats” — and certainly not representatives of the liberal cause.

They don’t even bother responding to us on the right, even in a clear-cut and provable systemic and deliberate case of a bias such as this. They don’t even bother defending themselves. They just ignore us. Because they’re not even reading us and even if they did, what we think just doesn’t matter.
