Ahmadinejad at Ground Zero?

I’m enraged beyond words at the idea of Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s desire to visit Ground Zero in NYC. And even more so that it appears the Secret Service may allow it to happen.

Unbelievable.

We are at war with radical Islam. Iran provided support to the 9/11 hijackers. And continues to actively support terrorism, supplying al-Qaeda with weapons that kill American soldiers. Iran is our enemy. Ahmadinejad’s only visit to America should be a quick stop at the Holocaust museum before being whisked away to Gitmo.

A commenter at Ace of Spades has a different idea:

Count me in the “let him go there” camp, for a variety of reasons.

First, he should experience what good ol’ freedom of speech really feels like, courtesy of the free American people.

Second, we should be letting him know how full of shite he is. His ambassador of peace routine isn’t fooling anyone.

Third, maybe an enterprising young American will mistake him for Archduke Ferdinand.

Sounds good to me.
