Gays mock Christians, press silent

Posted 28 Sep 2007 in hypocrisy, media bias

This is the promotional poster for a gay pride & leather parade in San Francisco called the Folsom Street Parade. It’s sponsored by Miller (which means someone in charge there saw the project and signed off on it in order to include the company’s logo) and it features a variety of gay men in leather S&M outfits positioned at a table to resemble Leonardo DaVinci’s painting of Jesus and his disciples at “The Last Supper.” Even more noteably, the wine and bread on the table in the painting are replaced in the poster with sex toys. I have no problem with gay pride or even having such an explicit parade, but think this poster goes way over the line....

Jawa on shari’a

Posted 26 Sep 2007 in Islam, Sharia

Today, Rusty posted one of the best quotes I’ve read recently about Islamists’ push for shari’a law in America. “The Muslim American Society wishes to impose sharia law in the United States. Sure, they want to adopt Islamic law peacefully, through democratic means, but I’m sure that will be of little consolation to the first woman stoned to death for adultery or the first cartoonist beheaded for blasphemy.”

Big propaganda win for Ahmadinejad

This is why we shouldn’t allow that fleabitten tyrant access to America to use us as a podium. Ahmadinejad lauded in Iran for “Lion’s Den” visitTEHRAN (Reuters) – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad may have faced ridicule in the United States by suggesting there were no homosexuals in Iran, but he won praise at home on Wednesday for taking his country’s case to “the Lion’s Den.” Generally, politicians and media in the Islamic Republic — even some who have previously criticized the president — described Ahmadinejad’s visit to New York as a triumph and denounced the university president who called him “a petty and cruel dictator.”…The president spoke at Columbia University on Monday and on Tuesday addressed the U.N. General Assembly,...

Irving gets it right on illegal immigration

Posted 25 Sep 2007 in illegal immigration, multiculturalism

This one stuns me. These people have the gall to protest against the police for enforcing the law, especially in light of our recent explosion of illegal immigration. Community Leaders Protest Program to Deport Criminal Aliens Community leaders are meeting with Irving police Monday over a controversial program to deport criminal illegal immigrants. Members of the Hispanic organization “Accion America,” along with other community and business leaders, have planned a meeting with the police chief of Irving. The group plans to demand that the city suspend the criminal alien program because they claim immigrants in Irving are being unfairly targeted. The group says Irving police officers have been confronting people at apartment complexes who appear to be immigrants and...

Liberals breathlessly embrace Iranian terrorist

Posted 24 Sep 2007 in Democrats, hypocrisy, Iran, liberals, stupidity

Lemme see if I have this straight. Columbia University bans the ROTC because “the U.S. military remains closed to openly gay personnel,” yet they’re falling all over themselves to host a terrorist DICKtator who executes homosexuals? And these are the people who believe President Bush is evil? Daily Kos, the new “mainstream” of the Democrat party, came out today with a poll where 45% of their readers would prefer to have Ahmadinejad as President of the USA.They want Mahmoud Ahmadinejad – the terrorist scumbag who’s actively helping Hamas, Hezbollah, and al-Qaeda terrorists murder American soldiers – to be their elected leader. The same guy who helped assault the US embassy in Tehran (an act of war) and held Americans...

Religion of Peace update: Bangladesh cartoon outrage

Posted 21 Sep 2007 in humor, intolerance, Islam, Religion of Peace update

Big shockeroo, more Muslims are getting their boxers in a bunch and rioting over another cartoon, this time in Bangladesh. (h/t: LGF) Violence over Bangladesh cartoon Street clashes have broken out in the Bangladeshi capital, Dhaka, as Islamic activists protested over the publication of an “offensive” cartoon. Witnesses say that hundreds joined the protest, even though such demonstrations are officially banned under the country’s state of emergency. Police baton-charged some of the protesters as they tried to break through barricades. The leading Bangla-language newspaper published the offending cartoons. Prothom Alo has since apologised for them and said that it has sacked an editor. (Those responsible for sacking the people who have just been sacked, have been sacked. And when...

Questions about the "Jena 6"

Posted 20 Sep 2007 in racism

If six white teens had hospitalized a black teen by kicking and stomping him, do you think there’d be rallies in support of the whites? Would there be calls for the charges against them to be dropped? And how do you think it’d be reported if the protesters shouted “White power!”? That’s essentially what’s happening right now in Louisiana, only switch the races and you’ll have it right. There are thousands of people demonstrating an appalling degree of racism and bigotry. Thousands rally in Jena ‘march for justice’ JENA, Louisiana (CNN) — Thousands of protesters clogged the tiny town of Jena, Louisiana, Thursday to show their indignation over what they consider unjust, unequal punishments meted out in two racially...

More lefties against the troops at Daily Kos

Posted 20 Sep 2007 in Democrats, liberals, military, war

Take a look at this diary entry from yesterday on Daily Kos and tell me that we shouldn’t question his patriotism. Or his intelligence. It makes me sad to see that the mainstream of the Democrat party is increasingly anti-military and anti-American. Daily Kos and MoveOn.org keep moving further left, to the point of being downright hateful of America and our way of life. At least this particular puke is honest in admitting his disdain for our soldiers and the good work they’re accomplishing. (h/t: LGF)

Ahmadinejad at Ground Zero?

Posted 20 Sep 2007 in 9/11, Iran, jihadists, terrorism

I’m enraged beyond words at the idea of Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s desire to visit Ground Zero in NYC. And even more so that it appears the Secret Service may allow it to happen. Unbelievable. We are at war with radical Islam. Iran provided support to the 9/11 hijackers. And continues to actively support terrorism, supplying al-Qaeda with weapons that kill American soldiers. Iran is our enemy. Ahmadinejad’s only visit to America should be a quick stop at the Holocaust museum before being whisked away to Gitmo. A commenter at Ace of Spades has a different idea: Count me in the “let him go there” camp, for a variety of reasons. First, he should experience what good ol’ freedom...

Why do liberals mandate insanity?

What is it that liberals are drinking lately, aside from Al Gore’s global warming Kool-Aid? Whether it’s Sheryl Crow telling us we have to use one square of toilet paper to wipe our asses, or Cate Blanchett telling us we should be drinking our own urine in order to save the planet, or Congress dictating what kind of light bulbs we should be allowed to buy, or lefties wanting to outlaw SUVs, the far left in this country just seem to be going further and further off the deep end. Of course, all this “green” insanity pales in comparison to Senators Harry Reid and Dick Durbin’s continual efforts to ram open-borders amnesty schemes down our throats (despite the huge...
