3 hours under the needle

Just a quick update. Yesterday, I met with my artist, Casey Cokrlic, to do the color on my dragon. After my last session, he had finished all the scales and added just a bit of yellow on the “whiskers,” so it was time to fill in the flames and get this thing wrapped up. We both had some grandiose ideas about finishing it in one sitting. And after 3 hours in the chair (my usual physical limit for a big tattoo area) I was surprised that I was ready for more drilling. But Casey had another appointment on the way, so we had to end it for now and schedule one more session for next week. After this one is done, we’re moving on to my forearms, which will completely sleeve me out. And once we figure out the design for my left forearm, we’ll do the entire background all at once so the designs flow together.
