Green eggs and jihad

Regular commenter DJ has posted a hillarious poem which combines the War On Terror™ with the brilliance of Theodor Geisel’s trochaic tetrameter (Seussian-style verse).

Would you fight him in St. Paul?
Would you oppose jihad at all?

Not in St. Paul,
nowhere at all!
Not in Iran,
Not in Iraq!
I will not fight him here or there,
I will not fight him anywhere.
I still support the soldier-man,
although I hate the mission-plan!

The entire piece is well worth the read. And just like Geisel’s poetry often satirized politics, this one points out – in humorous fashion – the obvious dichotomy of the Left’s “support the troops but not the mission” doublespeak.
