My Top Ten SuperBowl Commercials
Yesterday’s SuperBowl was a bit of a non-starter for me. I don’t follow either the Colts or the Bears (I rooted for Chicago since their QB used to be a Florida Gator).
Even so, I always watch the big game. Not for the football, mind you. But for the ads. Since I work in advertising, this one game represents the pinnacle of television commercials. Not only are the budgets usually better than average, but this is often the one time in the year when advertisers loosen the sticks in their asses and allow agencies to do things which get consumers’ attention. Usually by making them smile.
This year’s crop was a bit lackluster. There were, however, some standouts. So without further ado, here’s The Full Metal Patriot Top Ten SuperBowl Commercials…
10. Office Survivor
7. One Finger
6. Bank Robbery
5. Nutty Goulet
3. Moon Office
and the best spot this year…
