Dunny!

My addiction, er, collection so far.
Ok, I’ll admit it. I’m addicted.
Last year, I saw a little article in Wired magazine about vinyl toys and how they were the hot new thing. And after seeing some of the cool figures coming out of Japan and a few hot artists here in the states, I was intrigued. But when I saw some of these little guys in my local comic book store, I was hooked. They’re called Dunny, and they’re a line of artist-designed vinyl toys from Kid Robot. There are several different series of the collectible figures, each one specially designed and released in limited quantities (some are worth hundreds of dollars), sold in a blind box so you have no idea which one you’re getting. I buy one every weekend, and my co-workers have become accustomed to walking into my office each Monday to see the new aquisition. Be careful, don’t look too closely at these or try to find them in a store near you, because you’ll get sucked in, too. Save yourself!
