Will Muslims seek Obama’s head?

Now that Barack Obama, the current darling of the Democrat party, reversed himself and is tenatively entering the 2008 Presidential race, we’re sure to find out all sorts of interesting tidbits about him. You’d think the first salvo would be from Republicans but you’d be wrong. Hillary Clinton is already finding ways to sideline her competition. (h/t: Blogmeister USA)

An investigation of Mr. Obama by political opponents within the Democratic Party has discovered that Mr. Obama was raised as a Muslim by his stepfather in Indonesia. Sources close to the background check, which has not yet been released, said Mr. Obama, 45, spent at least four years in a so-called Madrassa, or Muslim seminary, in Indonesia.

“He was a Muslim, but he concealed it,” the source said. “His opponents within the Democrats hope this will become a major issue in the campaign.”

Hrmm, Barak Hussein Obama was a Muslim. Past tense. And if Muslims are just like anybody else and pose no threat to America, then why would this be an issue that Hillary is trying to exploit?

Personally, I find this interesting only because Obama claims to be a Christian. If that’s true, it’ll be interesting to see if the Islamic faithful will attempt to kill Obama for apostasy. After all, Mohammed commands it!

Maybe that’s what Hillary is counting on?
