NOW can we question their patriotism?

Ever since the pathetic John Kerry campaign of 2004, the “don’t question my patriotism” meme has been parroted by many on the extreme Left to counter observations that they stand up with communists, socialists, and jihadists who actively seek to destroy the American way of life. But that excuse is wearing pretty thin.

Last week there was a Fox News poll released which puts a fine point on the current state of anti-American sentiment within the Democrat party. A disturbingly large percent of the dominant political party in this country don’t want our military to succeed in Iraq. (h/t: AllahPundit)

No wonder we hear so much bad news vs good news from the MSM about the Iraq war. 49% of Democrats either want us to lose in Iraq or “don’t know” if they want us to succeed. And 34% are pretty straight-up about wanting failure for the U.S. military. Yeah, that’s “supporting the troops,” ain’t it? Nice of ‘em to demoralize our soldiers while giving a sympathetic boost to the murderous fanatics trying to kill them.

Sometimes I really wonder why people who feel this way stay in America and don’t go live somewhere else.
