Malkin’s back from Iraq
I’m sure this post must chap the ass of every anti-war leftist out there, but Michelle Malkin just got back from her trip to Iraq where she put her neck on the line to spend time with our troops and see the war first hand. She spent plenty of time on the streets of Baghdad with our troops and gives details her trip in words and pictures.
I came to Iraq a darkening pessimist about the war, due in large part to my doubts about the compatability of Islam and Western-style democracy, but also as a result of the steady, sensational diet of “grim milestone” and “daily IED count” media coverage that aids the insurgency.I left Iraq with unexpected hope and resolve.
Find out why. It’s well-worth the read.
