5 Things You Probably Didn’t Know About Me

Joshua from Boys Wear Pants tagged me with this meme. I’ve done something like this before in a previous post (71 Things You Might Not Wanna Know About Me), so I’ll need to come up with 5 more obscure factoids. Here goes:

  1. I’ve memorized every line of dialogue from all three Star Wars movies. That is, Episodes 4-6, natch. Yeah, go ahead and sound the geek alert. I can also quote Monty Python And The Holy Grail.

  2. I’m an ordained minister. No lie. I don’t wear the collar or run around preaching fire and brimstone, nor am I a very good Christian for that matter. But I do have the authority to join two people in the bonds of holy matrimony. Come to think of it, maybe I should get one of those little “clergy” parking stickers…

  3. I love karaoke. And I sing a wide range of stuff, from Motorhead to George Strait.

  4. I hold two black belt rankings. A shodan (first degree) in bojutsu (6-foot staff) and a yondan (fourth degree) in kenjutsu (Japanese swordsmanship).

  5. I used to make knives and ran my own business for several years. Made semi-custom blades for military and police use as well as private consumers, and had a contract to make knives for the Miami office of the FBI. (If I disappear under mysterious circumstances, now you’ll know why)
