I’m really getting sick of seeing my fellow Americans display such utter disregard for our soldiers and the victory they are fighting for. It’s bad enough we have so many people badmouthing the troops (one even recently spit in a soldier’s face!). But now we’ve got imbicile politicians traveling overseas to meet with terrorist leaders and nations! (For more on these morons, read “Yes, I’m Questioning Your Patriotism” over at TexasRainmaker)

Today, I saw a quote made by Dennis Miller which had me wishing his restraint and decorum was shared by those who oppose the war. (h/t: jcrue)

“If I didn’t believe in this war, in public I would lie and say I did until all these kids were home. I really would. I just don’t think our opinions matter all that much right now. We’ve got twenty year old kids….you know i love those kids, and I would never say anything that would make them feel like they’re fighting a war that no one cares about over there.”
