Air America’s sweet irony

nelson-haha.jpg It’s been a few months since we heard liberal talk radio network Air America was tanking and was going to declare bankruptcy. Al Franken (and deluded Liberals) tried to put a brave face on it for a while and act like everything was gonna work out while they stole money from charities to prop themselves up. But as is the case with their far-left politics, nobody is listening to them.

To use a fitting analogy, Democrat ideology has been chosen for extinction by the natural selection of free-market radio.

I don’t know how they’re doing nationally. There are claims they’re still on the air.

But apparently that’s no longer the case in Dallas.

When I tuned in last week to get my daily dose of “progressive” dementia, I heard instead a Catholic priest discussing something about Holy Mass. After I made sure I had the right channel, I wondered if perhaps one of the Lefties had invited a priest in order to verbally ambush him on the air. But nope, it really was a religious show. And when I checked back again the next day, it was still Catholic programming on the air in place of the typical anti-Bush diatribes.

I laughed so hard I nearly had to pull my car to the side of the road.

Sometimes it’s funny how things work out.
