New ink!
It’s been several months since I started the new dragon half-sleeve, so I’ve been jonesing for new ink for quite a while. And Sunday, I finally had the chance to sit in the chair and get some more work done! This time, Casey inked in all the scales and then went back and began adding the color. I decided this should be a black dragon with red belly scales and yellow accents. He only got the scales on the outside of my arm shaded before he had to call it quits (he had a date with his wife). But we got about 90 minutes of work done, so I’m happy about that. Casey’s going to Japan next week – lucky bastard – and he’ll be gone for a while, I’m already eager to schedule some time with him when he gets back. I can’t wait to see this one finished! Once we get the actual dragon completed, there will be plenty more work to be done on all the flames that will be around him. I may just go ahead and sleeve it all the way out when it gets time to do the flames. Just need to decide what will be on my forearm…
