al-Reuters: What media bias?
I’m so shocked.

Reuters admits altering Beirut photo

Reuters admits to more image manipulation
And as if that wasn’t enough…
Reuters employee issues ‘Zionist pig’ death threat
Yeah, folks. Fox News is biased, unlike Reuters – the world’s largest international multimedia news agency. They’re completely impartial. They just made a mistake, right? Just because they got busted by thousands of bloggers doesn’t mean they were trying to pass off anti-Israeli propaganda as fact. Here’s what a Reuters editor said in their defense of the Lebanese photographer they were using [supposedly freelance, but employed by Reuters from 1993 - 2003 and 2005 - now]:
Reuters has discussed the incident with the photographer, who has been a non-staff stringer. He has denied deliberately attempting to manipulate the image, saying that he was trying to remove dust marks and that he made mistakes due to the bad lighting conditions he was working under. This represents a serious breach of Reuters standards and we will not be accepting or using pictures taken by him.
Well golly gee, that explains everything! I guess Photoshop’s clone tool just happened to have malfunctioned over the area which happened to make the photo look worse for the IDF. Coincidence, right? And the computer screen must have been considered “bad lighting conditions.” Yeah, that explains the horrendously bad retouching that was passed off as credible journalism.
These aren’t the droids you’re looking for. You can go about your business. Move along.
