Rather than "term limits"…
Just a random thought today.
Instead of term limits which say someone can only serve so many years, what if we had a mandatory “one on, one off” arrangement, where politicians who wish to serve must take off at least one term after each term served? The idea being that in their off-years, they’d have to work real jobs and, more importantly, live by the laws they just helped create.
