Photos, lugggage, and The X-Men
Today was already so full of real-life goodness, I barely had time to even look at the computer, let alone blog. This is my weekend with the kids. And since I’m off from work, I went ahead and picked them up last night so we could have some more time together. And today, we’ve spent most of the day getting ready for Katie’s high school graduation, which happens tomorrow. First, we went through a bunch of pictures with her so she can decorate for her graduation party with plenty of pics from when she was growing up. Then I had to go out and get presents from her grandparents and me (remember the little issue I had with my mom over where to buy Katie’s gift?).
Even with such a full day, we managed to go out and watch X-Men 3 tonight. I don’t have much time to get into it at the moment, but suffice it to say that if you liked the other movies even a little, you should really get into this one. A few things: get there early enough to see the trailers. The new Ghost Rider movie looks awesome. And the new Superman Returns trailer features a cool scene in super-slow-mo showing a bullet ricocheting off of Superman’s cornea! And one more thing… don’t leave the movie until the absolute END of the credits or you’ll miss something important. ‘Nuff said!
