Ok, so it’s Cinco De Mayo. The 5th Of May. Basically Mexican Independence Day, but it’s celebrated in America thanks to the effective marketing efforts of beer companies.

I was so pissed off at the illegal immigrants protesting earlier this week, I was considering boycotting today. But ya know what? I’m not gonna let them affect my plans. I love drinking tequila anyway. And it’s Friday. What more reason does one need to enjoy a few shots? Or a lot of shots, for that matter.

And with Patrick Kennedy doing his best to one-up his dad’s little Chappaquiddick stunt, it seemed only natural to do something about alcohol today.

On this special occasion – Friday – I’m gonna share something special with you. Men have died trying to get this recipe. But here I am, sharing it with my readers. Don’t YOU feel loved?

Reverse_Vampyr’s world-famous perfect margarita

Blender full of ice
1/2 can of frozen limeade
1 cup Triple Sec
1 cup GOOD tequila (Patron Reposado, or Sauza Hornitos)

Blend until nice and slushy.

Drink until you’re nice and slushy.
