The new “chocolate” New Orleans celebrated its first Mardi Gras since Hurricane Katrina. And despite New Orleans’ Mayor Ray Nagin’s previous statements about his city’s racial preferences, white people and their money were surprisingly welcome at the festivities.
Nawlins doesn’t want their deadbeats back, but everyone else is welcome to come spend money.
