It’s High-Five-A-Muslim Day!
Today is the International High-Five a Muslim Day. Who knew? I thought it was just Fat Tuesday, otherwise known as Beads-for-Boobies day.
And why a high-five? Because, in the words of Jesus (as shown in Aussie Ronnie Johns’ video), “Well a nod, it isn’t enough. And a hug – well, that’s just too much.”
Dr. Rusty Shackleford at The Jawa Report sums it up:
Because there has to be a way to say, “Hey, Muslims, we’re totally down with you. It’s nothing personal, we really think you’re cool. It’s just the whole ‘behead the infidels’ and ‘stone the adulterers’ thing we’re not down with.”
