Who doesn’t care?
I’m feeling ornery today. Need to mix it up a bit. I think we’ll do sparring in sword class tomorrow.

So this morning, I’m sitting on the sofa, enjoying my morning coffee and watching VH-1′s Best Year Ever where they look back at the cultural and celebrity events in 2005. And they were naming nominees for who’s having the “Best Year Ever,” we had celebs like Martha Stewart, Angelina Jolie, and Tyra Banks. The next nominee was Kanye West. I guess his album is doing really well (I wouldn’t know, I don’t follow pop music or hip-hop), but the big thing they were talking about is when he mouthed off by saying “George Bush doesn’t care about black people” in regards to the Hurricane Katrina disaster in New Orleans. I can’t remember which celeb commentator it was, but they basically gushed, “Oh, he’s got this amazing confidence. He’s a strong black man, he says what he’s thinking.”
Puh-lease.
Well, since I’m a strong white man, I think I’ll sound off about a few other public figures (too bad I can’t monopolize a Red Cross fundraiser to speak my views).
Ted Kennedy doesn’t care about drowning Mary Jo Kopechne.OJ Simpson doesn’t care about finding the real killer of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman because he literally got away with murder.
Randi Rhodes doesn’t care that she’s ignorant. Which explains her radio show. (More here and here and here and here).
Michael Moore doesn’t care about the truth (but I don’t have enough room or time to document it all in this post).
Jessica Simpson doesn’t care about Nick Lachey. (sorry, had to see if you were paying attention)
Democrats Dick Durbin, Howard Dean, John Murtha, and John Kerry don’t care that they’re joining arms with socialists, communists and terrorist sympathizers in their mad rush to hate George Bush and commit treason.
Bill Clinton doesn’t care that he debased the office of President and is a convicted felon and traitor.
And the Left doesn’t care about all that. ‘Cause he was a great public speaker and a Democrat.
The mainstream media doesn’t care that they’re taking Bush’s comments about Iraqi casualties completely out of context to purposely make him look bad.
Cindy Sheehan doesn’t care that she’s insulting the memory of her dead son by continuing her media circus. And by cavorting with anti-Americans who are taking advantage of her celebrity status.
George Bush doesn’t care about what the Mainstream Media has to say about him. His poll numbers are rising, our military is winning and things are slowly improving, and our own economy is strong and growing.
Saddam Hussein doesn’t care that he’s facing the death penalty. Or that he has to sit in a crib (well, maybe he does care and that’s why he’s so cranky).
Many Liberals don’t care that their derangement is causing them to espouse anti-American ideas and anti-victory strategies, all in the hopes of getting back at Bush for the character flaws of Clinton.
Oh, and Kanye West doesn’t like white people.
