Are musicals gay?

And if so, are they still gay when they’re made into a movie?

Over the past couple years, my girlfriend has turned me on to several shows. And I’ve enjoyed them quite a bit. But I don’t feel the need to listen to the soundtracks often. Except for Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

Anyhow, I was just gonna post about this but after writing it, it sounds like a semi-gay confession. But whatever. I fuckin’ love the soundtrack to Rent. The movie is great and the music is even better.

And that’s saying a lot coming from a guy who gets off on stuff like Metallica, Godsmack, and System of a Down. Totally different head. But variety is good, right?

Also, SOAD’s new album Hypnotize is killer. Buy it.
