Great pairs on E(vil)bay
My girlfriend has been burning up Ebay lately, finding all sorts of cool stuff. Recently, Torrid changed its style from punk/goth stuff to basically look like Jessica Simpson threw up. And ever since then, traci’s been on the hunt for cool Emily stuff and other cool clothes. And ebay’s got ‘em.
After seeing several cool things she got (nice tight shirts and several pairs of sexy boots!), I wound up being hooked too. But first, a little backstory from earlier this week.
(setting the wayback machine with the boodly-boodly sounds)
Wednesday, I got out at 4:00 from a client meeting up in Plano, which means I’m 25 miles from the office and only about 4 miles to my house. So I get to go home early and work from home. Yeah sure, but I’m gonna stop by the mall on my way and check to see if there were any cool plugs at Hot Topic. There were a few, but none in 6 gauge. The girl who was helping me referred me to the body jewelry kiosk out in the mall, told me he had a bigger selection of good stuff. I’m usually reluctant to even look at those because more often than not, they’re real bad quality, but this guy had a great selection of good plugs in a variety of materials. Only thing is, the few things I liked were about $55 bucks a pair. I thought to myself, “Hey, I remember seeing those online for much less. Just go buy it online.” Here’s where my impatience kicks in.
In looking at a few stores online, it occurred to me that Ebay may have a few.
Yeah, a few. Like a few billion.
All sorts of cool plugs and various styles of earrings (talons, spirals, flesh tunnels, etc). I was instantly hooked. I used to shop on Ebay every once in a while, hadn’t done it in nearly 2 years. Luckily my profile and PayPal account was still active. Now I’ve got several cool new pairs of plugs coming. And I stumbled onto some great shirts by Guess, Diesel and Express for about 1/3 of what I would have had to pay in the store, even including the shipping.
Ohhh, this is SO dangerous. I better pay my bills while I still can!
