I like my toes

Posted 30 Jun 2005 in Uncategorized

I was standing in the elevator this afternoon, going downstairs to pick up a can of SOBE No Fear, when I looked down at my feet and had a happy little thought. I like my toes. I’m wearing some Teva sandals today, and I just happened to notice my toes. Something I rarely ever do. It was just odd that it struck me in a positive way. I believe it’s just a manifestation of feeling good about myself. Again, something very rare. But cool nevertheless. After all, things have been very good this week. Not because it’s been a relaxing week. Quite the opposite. This week has been a meat grinder, with my team being hit by several large...

Dems dislike clarity on their position

Posted 24 Jun 2005 in 9/11, Democrats, liberals, military, taxes, terrorism, war

After having their anti-American and anti-military views shown to the American public, the Democrats are eager to get the spotlight off themselves at any cost. And when Karl Rove (a favorite target of the liberals) spoke up about the Dems, they took no time in screaming for his head. Rove was quoted in the New York Times as speaking out against the Democrats’ policy of appeasement and “kinder, gentler” treatment of terrorists: Conservatives saw the savagery of 9/11 in the attacks and prepared for war; liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers. I fail to see why the liberals are so upset at what he...

Liberal means never having to say you’re sorry

Over the past week, I kept hearing the words like treason and traitor used to describe Illinois Senator Dick Durbin’s recent comments, so I thought I’d look up the definitions to see if they were accurate. trea·son (tre’ zin) n. Violation of allegiance toward one’s country or sovereign, especially the betrayal of one’s country by waging war against it or by consciously and purposely acting to aid its enemies. trai·tor (tra-ter) n. One who betrays one’s country, a cause, or a trust, especially one who commits treason. Yep. They’re accurate. He fits the definition of traitor. Especially given the fact that his words have been a big boost to Al Quaeda, if what’s written in Aljazeera is any indication....

A letter to Senator Dick Durbin

Dear Senator Durbin, I am writing to thank you for your kind statements about Guantanamo last week. As a hardcore jihadist, I’ve been extremely skeptical that there was anyone in America who was wise enough to take a stand with the righteous. It has seemed that no matter how many buildings we blow up or how many children we kill, Americans just won’t come around to our way of thinking. But I am happy to see that I was wrong. There are a few of you who are realizing that America is the great Satan that must be destroyed. I applaud your courage to make public statements to weaken your own military. And I encourage you to continue (pass...

Senator Durbin – darling of Aljazeera

Posted 16 Jun 2005 in Democrats, liberals, military, terrorism, war

To the idiots defending Senator Durbin and trying to position Bush and America’s military as being torturers (interrogation techniques that involve making the terrorists uncomfortable are NOT the same as torture), let’s see what “the rest of the world” is saying. Specifically, let’s look at what the Arab world is saying about Durbin’s outrageous remarks. Wednesday evening, Durbin had this to say: “This administration should apologise to the American people for abandoning the Geneva Conventions and authorising torture techniques that put our troops at risk and make Americans less secure.” Senator, the only one making Americans less secure are people like yourself, rousing anti-American sentiment around the globe, especially among the Muslims who hate us the most. Your selfish...

Capt. Picard called, he wants his stuff back

Take a break from outrageous anti-Americanism for a few moments and check this out. Some sort of movable computer elements that function as specialized screens as well as content. Very cool. Geek schwing factor: 99%.

Senator smokes crack on Senate floor

Posted 15 Jun 2005 in Islam, military, stupidity, terrorism

I’m outraged to find that our tax dollars are supporting the crack habits of a few certain Senators. Based on yesterday’s statements about Guantanamo from Illinois senator Dick Durbin, he’s clearly been smoking some kind of controlled substance. “You would most certainly believe that this had happened by Nazis, Soviets in their Gulags or some mad regime, Pol Pot and others, that had no concern for human beings.” There’s no other explanation for such an outrageous statement. First off, Pol Pot was a Marxist genocidal maniac who murdered over 2 million of his own citizens, so that’s not even remotely similar to this. Let’s keep the ridiculous smears confined to prisons and then we can look at the facts...

Pro-choice… mmmmm, tasty

Posted 15 Jun 2005 in abortion

Thanks to Hector Vex for posting this one. I thought the left wanted to keep Roe v. Wade in order for abortion to be “safe & legal.” Supposedly, their noble crusade to make abortion available for all women keeps it out of the “back alleys”. Here’s a doctor who sounds like the back alley type, only he’s been operating under license for over a decade. …the clinic was dark, dingy, had poor lighting and smelled musty. There were dirty dishes in the break-room sink and on the table, trash everywhere, and roaches crawling on the countertops. …there were no hazardous waste containers anywhere. (An employee later testified Rajanna took home all contaminated, medical and biohazard waste for residential trash...

Apparently, I use the word apparently too much. I apparently need to get one of those “word a day” calendars or something…

Finger snapping cancels out child molesting

Posted 14 Jun 2005 in stupidity

How about a great big WTF for yesterday’s Michael Jackson verdict? What were these jurors thinking, returning a “not guilty” verdict on all 10 counts? They’ve even openly admitted they think he’s molested children. They got caught up in the defense’s successful misdirection, focusing their attention on Janet Arvizo, the mother of the victim. And apparently, the mother was stupid enough to snap her fingers at the jury during her testimony, and that pissed some of them off. Especially Juror #5, Eleanor Cook, a 79-year old grandmother, for whom that performance was the moment the trial changed. “We had our suspicions, but that wasn’t what we were there to do.” Hrmm. I guess this jury was instructed to NOT...
