Ow 2, the sequel

Remember how I’ve been trying to kill my liver? Well, apparently he’s put a contract out on me, and hired my back as the hitman. Paybacks are a bitch.

Arg.

I had a great weekend with my girlies. We rented Shark’s Tale (mediocre) and Kung Pow! Enter The Fist. That one is hillarious. In the weirdest, most stupid way possible. In case you missed it, it’s a spoof of all the bad kung fu movies from the 1970′s. They actually take some footage from 2 different movies, and through the magic of special effects put the main actor into scenes from both movies. They re-dub the voices, obviously. And the result is even MORE inane than the originals. But much funnier, too. Gotta be in the mood for this kind of humor. But this one definitely fits the bill. I also made my almost-world-famous chili mac, and we all enjoyed it while we watched the flick.

We also rented Soul Calibur 2 for the Playstation. Ah, sweet retribution! This time, I got to rematch with Tessa and regain a bit of personal dignity. I won half the time.

Was supposed to be off from work today. But there’s too damn much to do. At least I can do some of it from home. Mmmm, coffee and blogs while I work…
