WTF with the CPS?

This week in Plano, TX, a lunatic named Dana Schlosser murdered her 11-month old baby by cutting her arms off at the shoulders. She calmly called her husband and told him what she did. He then called 911. When they called the house, she nochalantly described her sadistic behavior. This woman had been under investigation by Child Protective Services for several months, as her postpartum depression had led to numerous psychotic episodes over the past year. But despite that, CPS closed its investigation in August and left the baby and the couple’s other two daughters at home! What evidence could have led CPS to believe the children were safe? And what I really wanna know is whether or not there will be any accountability for the CPS case worker who certified Dana Schlosser as a fit mother!! This organization routinely investigates families and removes children from homes, only to find later that the family in question was the target of baseless accusations from a neighbor. But when faced with an actual case of parental incompetence and downright danger from a psychotic woman, they leave the kids in the home.
